Beyond Good and Evil

Beyond Good and Evil
In Beyond Good and Evil, Jade is a protective woman who investigates the goings-on on her planet. There is fighting, picture-taking and puzzle solving everywhere!

The graphics are quite nice, with the various worlds having their own look and feel. There's a rather good plot to draw you into the game, with situations that at least seem semi-realistic instead of randomly slaying everything in your path.

It seems like a lot of games are using the camera as a fun mini-quest item, and Beyond Good and Evil is no exception. You're told to go around taking pictures of all the creatures you can, and while some are easy, others are quite a challenge. It makes you really explore each area and keep a sharp eye out.

There's a rather long introduction to the game, so sit back and be prepared to give it time to get going. Also, this isn't a good, long RPG. Unlike the Final Fantasy series where you can easily play for several months and still not be done, you can probably finish up Beyond Good and Evil in a week or so without much effort.

Still, a fun game, and right now you can find it at a reasonable price in most stores. Or rent it from gamespy.com if you'd like. Enjoy!
