Social Media Manager Pioneer on Fox News

Social Media Manager Pioneer on Fox News
Kate Buck Jr. was on Fox News yesterday. Why do you need to know that? Because Kate Buck Jr. is leading one of the fastest growing industries in the nation, she’s an independent Social Media Manager. She manages social media accounts like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube for her customers. She and other social media managers are in high demand. This is important to you for many reasons.

The first is that you can hire someone to keep up with your social media tasks so that your company maintains a high visibility level on the social media channels. It’s also important because this is a profession that you may want to get trained in and offer as a service to your customers.

People are talking and these days they are talking on Facebook and Twitter. If you’re a part of the conversation you find out what your customers need and how you can better serve them. You also find out when there’s a problem. It’s like hanging out in the break room all day long and finding out what people really think about you.

Social media is rising in popularity; it’s quick, in most cases easy and goes on twenty four hours a day. As a business owner it allows you to connect with your community and build relationships with them. I recently emailed an author and told her that I enjoyed her work. She personally responded on Facebook and we’ve been connecting back and forth. Without social media that would not be possible.

If your business is currently using social media that’s a good thing. If you’re on Facebook, Twitter and the likes but you never go on to update your status that’s a not so good thing. It may be time for you to contract out that job to someone who will be happy to do it for you. Social Media has made our world smaller and more intimate; however now you have to manage those relationships on a daily bases.

If you don’t have time there are services and independent specialist that will do it for you. I recently signed up to take the social media course offered by Kate Buck Jr. or KBJ. I realize that it will help me navigate this new media format for my business and will also give me another service that I can offer my customers and clients. As business owners we have to stay ahead of the new media curve if we don’t want to be left giving ourselves the V8 tap on the head wondering what just happened.
