What Are The eBook Readers Today?
There are two main types of eBook Readers. The eInk eBook Readers and Color eReaders. These two types have both pros and cons to them. Here is a listing of which category the most popular eBook readers fit into.

eInk eBook Readers:
~ Amazon Kindle
~ Sony Readers
~ PocketBook
~ Kobo

These all use the eInk technology, which delivers the feel of ink printed on paper and is easier on eye strain. eInk is also more energy efficient with battery life lasting upwards to two months. And since it is like paper, reading in bright sunlight is a breeze.

Color eReaders:
~ iPad
~ Android tablets

These Color eReaders deliver brilliant color and are more suited for magazines, comic books, web content and other forms of literature that has heavy color images and words. eInk is striving toward color and when this technology has been perfected color eInk will be a game changer.

There are also many who want to know what eBook Readers are on the market. Below is a list of ebook readers as well as a few tablets that are being marketed as eBook Readers. This list may help you search and compare the functionality of each eBook Reader.

The eInk eBook Readers are beginning to come out with reading lights so you have book less eye strain and the ability to read in the dark. My advice, protect your eyes whenever you can!
