Countering Negative Influences

Countering Negative Influences
There's not a single day where we shouldn't have some variety of challenge in our life. Accomplishments are what make it all worth while. But when negative events seem to overshadow the progress we've made, it might be time to take a closer look!

Ups and downs are a given in life, but when a series of personal and financial difficulties feel like they're the norm anymore and not the exception, the culprit might very well be something we can do something about.

At the end of a month, most of us can go to our checking account and quickly see whether or not things look about right. In other areas, such as relationships or long-term goals, it can be a little more difficult because we have an idea of what they're supposed to look like.

Recently, a woman contacted me about a situation. She explained that it wasn't normal by any means. She'd had a serious car accident and hadn't been expected to live. Prior to the accident, she'd always considered herself lucky, blessed in life. No matter what, things always fell right-side-up and easily into place.

Since recovering, terrible things, from the accident itself, to her windshield being smashed by an errant tree limb, 3 flat tires, a second accident and being robbed shortly after losing her job, all within a few months.

She shared that a psychic had told her a curse had been placed on her and needed to be removed. I was more concerned with Collective Challenge, change and possibly the car itself.

Collective Challenge is the perspective that all things share equally in the diversity of a constantly interweaving "fabric" of existence. As human beings, our existence becomes threaded (like beads) within this overall fabric of the collective.

At certain times we can become weighted, even stagnate. Very much like the weight of a marble dipping the surface of a piece of plastic wrap. People, places and things can either enhance or alleviate some of those effects.

When an overall synchronicity or fluent balance is present within the collective, there's a countering or cushion of sorts. If, on the other hand, things are disruptive or more abrasive in nature, those influences can exasperate even the most routine of events.

When things feel to be compounding, it's not always going to be your imagination. We are creatures born of intuition and we'd be well off to utilize those instincts to warn us when things aren't quite right.

If we're doing everything in our power and still feel our world is falling down around us, we're likely graduating. Reaching out instead of going into hiding, understanding and patience with yourself as you would any other human being, will help surpass a comfort zone we've likely grown out of. That is and will always be what makes the real sustainable difference!
