| The HTML Writer's Guild (HWG) was founded in 1994 as an association for web professionals. In 2001 it merged with the International Webmaster's Association (IWA) to become the IWA-HWG. This is one of the first websites for web professionals and now has over 100 chapters internationally. One of the best features of the organization is their vast resources.
