Terminator 3 - Rise Of The Machine

Terminator 3 - Rise Of The Machine
As a teenager, John Connor’s life is a disaster. But things go from bad to worse when the TX, an advanced terminator, is sent to destroy him along with his future wife, Kate Brewster, and lieutenants in the impending war. His only hope could be a familiar terminator sent to protect him and Kate and to make sure they survive the upcoming war. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Terminator 3 – Rise Of The Machines”.

∙ John is in the veterinarian’s office getting the Phenobarbital. In the close-up of the bottle, the medicine cabinet is in the background. A bottle of medication (the meds start with an O) is standing upright and a bottle to the left of it has been knocked over on its side. It cuts to the left side view of John taking the medication and the bottle that had been knocked over is now upright.

∙ The Terminator wraps a tire iron around the backdoor handles of the pet truck. He eventually takes it of when he leaves the convenience store and drives off. John and Kate are in the back talking. When Kate says “coincidence” and John responds “yeah”, it cuts to an outer view of the truck traveling on the road and the rear view shows the tire iron is there. It’s gone when they crash through the gates of the cemetery.

∙ Kate grabs the gun from the coffin and yells “out of the way”. The front view of the Terminator shows he’s angled toward his left. It cuts to a glimpse of Kate and then back to him and he’s now angled toward his right.

∙ When the hearse plows under the tractor trailer, down the embankment and swerves right onto the road, the silver hubcaps on the passenger side tires are gone. When the hearse pulls up at the campsite a few moments later, the rear hubcap is back on the car.

∙ John and Kate are talking at the table in the camper. When John is holding the explosive pack and mentions “he won’t have to kill me someday”, the view of the table shows the explosives sitting in front of Kate. It cuts to a farther view and the explosives are still in front of her. The scene then switches to a front view of Kate when John mentions “we can go our separates ways” and the only thing in front of Kate is a gun. It cuts to a close-up of John and then back to Kate and the explosives are back in front of her.

“Terminator 3 – Rise Of The Machines” (2003) stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, Claire Danes, David Andrews and Kristanna Loken. It runs 109 minutes and is rated R for strong sci-fi violence and action, and for language and brief nudity.
