Always Loved YouAddison Road
On the follow-up to their highly acclaimed release "Breaking Beautifully" Addison Road takes over production rights and puts out a project that is full of the rock influences that they are known for but also gives us a new sense of growth. Pounding out a drum beat that is powerful but not over-powering the title track gives us that up-tempo rockin' beat that we love from Addison and the voice of lead singer Jenny Simmons measures up to the track greatly. With the lyrics "Only in you are we free/Only in you can we see/Only in you do we find life" she crystallizes the reason why we love God. With the heavy guitar strumming on "I'll Be Ok", Jenny's vocals and Ryan's musicianship beam. Sometimes in life and relationships we don't know if things are going to be "what we wished for in our dreams" so we are just fine with being ok. And Jenny sings this point with a focus and true clarity that let's you know that this group has matured and grown up. The praise tune "Rejoice" is spirit filled and an easy sing along. The song of heartbreak "Where Are You" and the pensive ballad "Need You Now" wrap up this recording greatly. Check out the group at www.addisonroad.com

Into These RoomsSarah Hart
A fresh and pure as springtime voice welcomes listeners on the CD Into These Rooms. Sarah Hart gives you a lively and uplifting take on the many facets that make up Christian music. With blends of pop and rock she moves you through each track with a smoothness that is warm and inviting. Opening with the up-tempo tune "Door Swing Wide" she sings of going out of a "home of hiding" into the light of freedom with an intimacy that only a person who has once lived in fear and now moved towards the light can know. The song gives you a sense of pleasure with each verse. Next is the love song "With Only Love" in which she professes her love but realizes that what she feels is even more powerful than love. We all wonder sometimes if just saying I love you is enough and she covers that sentiment with the lyrics "I love you sounds so small" but in all respects this tune covers the many shades of love wonderfully. Other tracks of notice are the beautiful ballad "Be With Me Lord" and the song "Brave New World" which was just used in an episode of the popular Lifetime Television show, "Strong Medicine" both highlight Sarah's clear and clean voice. Listen to this project for yourself and I'm sure you will become a big fan of Sarah's indeed. Learn more about Sarah Hart at www.spiritandsong.com

Beyond BeautifulBrothers Keeper
Opening with the happy, breezy and cool title track, "Beyond Beautiful" Brother's Keeper delivers a project full of great rhythms and wonderful lyrics. Singing of how awesome Jesus is and the fact that He is beyond just being beautiful, the group's harmonies are on full display with this song. Next the funk-filled "Flying Through the Clouds" pumps up the spirit with the lyrics of how God's grace lifts us up higher than we can ever imagine. So high that we are "off the ground and won't look down anymore"! The haunting drums and synthetic sounds of guitars and hard pumping synthesizers give "Passion" an energy that is high and hard hitting. The passionate statement of the group to live everyday reflecting the word and good news of God drives every beat of this rockin' tune. This message comes through like the sun, shining brightly and delivering a much needed light on this subject with warmth and necessity. "Passion" is featured in their latest video, which by the way is awesome and if it is on your TV stop channel surfing and check it out. Finally the songs "Walk With Me" which features Mark Harris (4HIM), Bob Carlisle, Todd Agnew, Scott Krippayne, Rick Heil (Sonicflood) and others and the ballad "He Took the Scars" are of honorable mention.
