Vehicle Exterior -- Plastics and Vinyl

Vehicle Exterior -- Plastics and Vinyl
Road film, dirt and other foreign matter like road tar can be unsightly and if not removed in a timely manner, become permanent. This, the final part of exterior series, contains some simple and effective suggestions you can use to keep your vehicles "skirt" looking great. I prefer my skirt to shine on the edges! As most of you know, I also have a black Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It has a quartz gray skirt with deep ridges. When we first obtained our Jeep, the first thing I did was give it my complete detailing--I call it the "House Special"--total detailing inside AND out. We got it used so that was FIRST PRIORITY!!

Needless to say, the "House Special" was just what the doctor ordered! I wasn't totally satisfied with the total result--something just wasn't quite...Then I realized the skirt looked DULL. Dirt, grime, road film and even wax residue had discolored it and it just looked (visually) askew. I had just purchased a new plastic and vinyl product from Meguiar's. Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Protectant...to clean, condition and protect all vinyl, rubber and plastic surfaces. These materials require special treatment to preserve their original look, retain their elasticity, and protect them from fading.
Meguiar's NXT Tech Protectant creates the best all-in-one protectant on the market today--in my opinion. It created shine & richness to my skirt. I even used it on my dashboard & tires! Finally, it helps to reduce fading and cracking and restored it to the original color. Did I mention THE SHINE?!
I was totally impressed with this product. I know I rave about Meguiar's a lot but as the saying goes "When you got, flaunt it!". I use this protectant every time I wash/wax/polish my car! Try it! The price is right too! Only $5 at Wal-Mart!! I hope this series has taught you a few new tricks--I learn something new every time I detail cars!

Remember, it's not the product that you use that gets the results, it's how you use it! Drive with care!
