Army Men: Toys In Space
We loved the first two versions of Army Men, named appropriately Army Men and Army Men 2. When we saw Toys in Space was coming out we laughed at this being Army Men 2 1/2. As soon as it hit the shelves, we got it and started playing.
What fun! The same little green and tan soldiers now have alien buddies and vehicles to help out. The graphics are great, and it's a very easy game to pick up and learn. The tutorials let you practice with ease, with each kind of unit.
My ten year old son loves this game, and I'm glad that, while a combat game, it's obviously done in fun. Plastic men melt underneath a magnifying glass, and explode into little plastic pieces when an enemy mortar hits them. This is a far cry from the blood and tearing flesh you find in many other games.
I highly recommend this sequel, and look forward to other games from these fun-loving creators!
