There are TONS of creatures and monsters in Asheron's Call, ranging from the tiny shadowchild up to huge monsters too terrifying even to describe. Well, OK, maybe not THAT terrifying. Here's what I've found in the lower areas of the map.

Rat: Probably THE first creature you run into (besides the bunny). Rats are really easy to kill, and if you get good leggings they usually can't hurt you. Remember to aim low! There are lots of rat types, and their tales are good to sell to collectors. White: lvl 1, 10hp. Tan: lvl 2, 15hp. Russet: lvl 2, 16hp. Grey: lvl 3, 15hp. Brown: lvl 5, 20hp.

Drudge: One of the first creatures most characters meet up with. Drudges are relatively easy to kill, but like to hang out in groups and can be nasty if you run into a pile of them. They are also easily scared and will run off if they think the battle is against them. Skulker: lvl 2, 20hp. Slinker: lvl 4, 25hp. Sneaker: lvl 4, 33hp. Prowler: lvl 4, 45hp. Robber: lvl 4, 45hp.

Shreth: There are many types of Shreths: carrion shreths, blood shreths, even hunter shreths. They make a distinctive galloping noise coming up behind you that newbies learn to fear :) Gnawer: lvl 2, 15hp. Carrion: lvl 4, 25hp. Blood: lvl 7, 38hp. Hunter: lvl 10, 50hp.

Phyntos Wasp: These come in various colors (red, blue) and are rather fast. These are good ones to ping with arrows as they come at you, so that you get them before they can start hitting you. They do have limited spell abilities. Red found near Hebian-To and Nanto on the roads, Blue in Eastham. Wings are valuable to collectors (150p/red, 250p/blue). Red: Lvl 2, 20hp. Blue: Lvl 5, 30hp

Gromnie: Sort of looking like a dark snake with two legs, these things can spit acid and swipe at you. The acid is the worst part of their attack. Azure: Lvl 8, 48hp.

Outcast Monouga: Sort of like a brigand. Hangs out in small groups by the road, ready to pounce on passer-bys. Found south of Hebian-To. Lvl 4, 40hp.

Mosswarts: These little green monsters look like green scaly children, and can be relatively nasty. There are creepers and feeders.

Small Shadowchild: Looks doll-like in appearance, but don't be fooled. This kid has a nasty attack which can kill low level characters pretty quickly. Found south of Hebian-To. Lvl 4.

Reedshark: These are nasty to lower level characters! Fast and dangerous, with pups and adults. Pup: lvl 5, 40hp
