Baldur's Gate Chapter 4: Cloakwood
OK, this is annoying. You FINALLY think you'll be able to get over the bridge, but noooooooo. You are told you have to eliminate the bandit menace first. This means you have to work your way through the Cloakwood maze and clear out the mines in its center. Okey dokey.
Head around through the various Cloakwood areas. First, Aldeth Sashenstar wants you to help him kill some savages. yeah, right, he means druids!! You'll anger his relatives later on, but help out the druids from this maniac. Seniyad will be pleased. Get 2000xp for this. You'll find Gurke's cloak - when you try to return it to him, he says to keep it and you get 300xp. You also meet Coran. He is hunting wyverns and will join you. You get 2000g for bringin a wyvern head to the Beregost temple.
In area two, Tiber lost his brother Chelak to the spiders. Watch for traps as you explore. To the northwest you find a spider hole. Centeol is in the middle, who has killed Chelak. She apparently was cursed by Jon Icarus. Kill Centeol, bring the body back to the brother, and get 800xp and a +2 sword vs spiders.
You mean Eldoth who loves Skie, the daughter of Entar Silvershield. He'll join you - I left him behind. You meet Laskal, a druid, who is a protector of Cloakwood. Tell him you hate the Iron Throne he'll warn you about their fort to the east. To the west is a cave with Peter of the North, training wyverns. There are also various druids meandering about.
The fourth area. To the SW you'll meet a hamadryad. To the east is a wyvern cave, with a wand of fear in it.
OK, down into the mines!
