To move around the map, 'grab' (with right mouse button) and drag the grond around. This works in all four main directions. The middle button lets you spin around left or right, or tilt up and down.

The LEFT button is the 'action' button to do things. The scroll button zooms in and out.

bronze scroll = tutorial
silver scroll = quest
gold scroll = main story point

To practice, you have to throw a bunch of rocks out of a circle. You get 1,000 tribute for that. You next see some villagers - you need to grab one and put him on a highlighted area to chop trees. The next one becomes a builder. You get a farmer and breeder too. That gets you another 1,000 tribute.
