Dungeon Keeper 2 Walkthrough: Aftermath/Snapdragon: 8
If the last mission was the giant mission, this is the Wizard mission. You have to
take over Dante's abandoned lair, and kill Titus, who has Wizards protecting him.
You begin, appropriately, in an abandoned dungeon, with lots of lava and water around.
Trick one is to build stone bridges over the lava but remember you only need wood
bridges over water! You really have to watch your money at the beginning, as you only
have 2 gold cubes within easy reach.
Grab the lair and hatchery, and those two gold. You need guys, so get the portal next,
and the few gold up above that. Don't venture further in that direction yet. There's a
'make happy' up there. Save that until you need it, if ever.
Next, move west to the hero's gate, and the training room. Throw your units into the
training room and begin training them. When you're ready, move on the treasure room
next, to the southwest. By now you should be in a better money position and have
more units coming in to help you. The enemies get tougher as you go, so keep training.
Now grab the casino and the gold below it. Don't open up the two northern doors off
the casino yet. Move southwest and get the prison - you not only get two dark elves
to join your cause, but now you can turn the enemies you kill into skeletons!
From there, northwest is a hero gate, and two increase moneys which you should be
able to save. SW is a torture chamber with a mana increase, which again you can
save until later.
OK, now work on the northern part again. Go past the portal and take out the hero's
gate and mana increase up there. Go northeast to the workshop. That's it for this end.
Now for the final assault. Move NE from the casino and take out the hatchery. Continue
NE to the library, where you get a level up, heal, and money increase. Increase your
level, and take out the final group!
