Before you start this mission, go and do all available side missions. There should be one pony express and one wanted poster to take care of. Buy whatever you want at the shopkeep. Also, refill your ammo. Basic ammo is located by a little white tent at the right of the bridge. Shotgun ammo is around to the right in a nook past here. There is also rifle ammo in front of the wanted poster place.

When you're ready, go talk to Pat Denton. When you get there, he's talking to a Chinese guy. Pat says to go to the far end of bridge. Apparently indians made off with a box of TNT.

Go down the ramp and along the bridge. You'll see the TNT blow up. Go down to the other side (the left side) and shoot as you go. Some of the indians have fire arrows. Work your way across the top layer, then down the ramp - the game checkpoints here.

Shoot from the ramp top down to the enemies below. When it's clear, you're told that Pat is sending over a transport. Fill up on ammo here including whiskey bombs. While you've got some time, walk away from bridge around the corner - there's gold here to mine. You get $10. Keep going along the river to the very end; there's another gold in a little lagoon. There are also health and canoes here, and you can't go further.

Return to the bridge and go past in the other direction for another gold. You're set now. Go onto the transport. Get your pistol ready. As you are moved along, the bad guys appear with TNT. You have to kill the indians without setting off TNT. Aim carefully, and when it's clear, throw the TNT over the side. Now go over to to far side - you've got incoming fire arrows. Shoot the indians to stop the rain of fire. Finally, take the transport back to refill your ammo etc.

When you're done, go to Pat. He's happy and now says to cover the road. This is a LONG mission! The workers go down the ramp and you follow them down.

Go down and fight the indians that show up. Now Pat Denton has health bar. The key here is not to get far from the workers, otherwise they're slain. Soon a new guy shows up - "I'll take care of this" - you have a TNT health bar. You have to shoot the fire arrows with quick draw. There's a pattern - 2 from the right, 2 from the left, and so on. Be sure you've practiced quick draw and fast reloading. Stand right behind the barrels for this. Now you see 3 guys jump over, using torches. Slay them. Then come 4 guys. Next you get a health bar for quick killer. Blast away with gun at him - we had to backpedal while killing him.

Finally!! Success. You get quick killer's tomahawk and also new deputy missions available.

Pat says he's sending you and Jenny to Empire with 2 guys. It's all he has. Now you're told to talk to Jenny.
