![]() Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Walkthrough Challenges Monstrous Book of Monsters Triple cast the cauldron and the book will appear. You need to destroy all of the pages without being defeated yourself. With all three of you fighting the book, moving around seemed to cause chaos. Try staying in one place and using the mouse to cast the pages closest too you. If a page gets too close try moving quickly left or right and hit it with a cast. When you defeat all of the pages you will get a card and a chocolate frog. I recommend you leave the frogs until you see your health is getting low. If later in a fight you are taking a lot of hits you can run up and grab the frog to restore your energy in a battle. Triple cast the trunk and repeat all of this for a total of 5 times and 5 new cards. Pixie Infestation This is fairly easy to defeat, especially if you’ve put it off until late in the game and have had practice casting the spells quickly. I had the most luck by holding down the cast button and moving around. As soon as the cast icon popped up I released the button to cast and then held it back down and started moving again. At the end of each of the five battles you’ll receive a card and a chocolate frog. Collect the card but save the frogs until you see your health getting low. When you see you are getting low on health run up quickly and run over a frog. To start the Pixies, triple cast the cauldron. When they’re defeated repeat this for a total of five battles and five new cards. HippoGriff Course
This seemed to me the most difficult part of the game and it took a while for me to figure out why. I have a fairly average computer that I was playing this on, 600 Mhz with 512 Mbytes of RAM, and I couldn’t overcome the lag. It was incredible aggravating. Eventually, I went to the Options menu and changed the graphics to 480 x 600, and everything else to low which is one step below normal. After this it ran much smoother and I got through this easily. The best plan here is to run through each course a few times slowly until you get the feel of it. Even on these trial runs you’re likely to beat the required score.
