Battlecruiser Sekmet
Here you go, your first Vela mission. Isn't she cute when she jumps around? You
start out meeting Midge, and get grenades, pistol capacity, and 4 teddy bears.
There are three doors here - two with green keys, one normal. You of course need
to use the normal door.
The next room has lots of ridged protrusions into a central room with a river. You
can go up to the higher level (on top of the ridges) or down into the lower level
with the river. There are a few drones in here, not many. There's health and grenades. The ridges have fuel pads
on them, no use right now. One way to exit is the
life force door back the way you came in, on the lower level.
This lower life force door gets you to a skylight tunnel with the machine gun box and a Gemini Capacity increase (to 7). There's a green door you can't enter yet. Go back into the ridged room.
OK, ridged room. You can go forward along the stream and out the other lower door. Grab the full pistol ammo on the way.
The next room in the series is a room with red walls and yellow bird symbols on the
walls. Kill the creatures in here. On the upper area is a fuel pad, grenades and machine gun ammo. If you keep going forward along the stream you can leave out yet another low door that you have to machine gun to open.
This low door leads to another skylight room, this one full of barrels and drones with shields. Kill them off and go out the other side of the room through the life force door.
You hit the fish-face room; he gives you a red key and you get a plasma shotgun and machine gun increase capacity. There's a magenta door here, much to everyone's amusement. Magenta?? Go back to the yellow symbol room, and go up to the higher level
here. Go through the higher door, above the fish-face door.
Through the higher door is a circle room with lots of flyers in it (also flying in a circle). There is also health, machine gun ammo and full pistol ammo. Take out the flyers, and open the life door.
You're now in a yellow lava room with a grid floor. There are groups of flyers, take each group out carefully. Don't fall! Get to the other end and go out the red key door.
Platform half of this level!
