Lumines Walkthrough
Shinin'

Blocks: Silver + Orange
Background: Planetarium
Starting Level: 0

First levels are all about teaching you the system. In Shinin', you have a planet in the background and a planetarium projector in the foreground. It's from a planetarium in Osaka, the credit for it is in the manual for the game. This background is shown for Levels 0-3.

At first the background is blue with no clouds, for one beat. Then it goes to blue with clouds. When you make squares, you cause the clouds to appear and dissappear. I swear that I could get the background to turn orange when I made orange squares, but it cannot reproduce reliably. I will work on figuring this out.

When you hit 2:59/D34 and 5:52/D79 the background turns into streaking comets. It seems to be time based and not behavior based.
