Planescape Torment:
Inside: Top Floor

Return here when you learn 'Stones-Bones-Tell' to talk to the various zombies. You probably already snuck up here once to grab the needle and thread, to turn into a zombie. Now return here as a zombie to explore without getting anyone suspicious.

The first room has a charcoal charm in it, and nothing else.

The next room south, where you got the needle and thread, also has junk. Save all junk you find - often it's a key to a portal somewhere. Zombie 310 is Arabhiem from Oinos, serving Lord Khin-Oin. He feels life is hopeless. Zombie 832, a pretty roman, refuses to talk. If the dustmen bother you because you're not disguised, snap the neck of one and take his robes, and use that for a disguise. You remember doing that before. Zombie 478, misshapen, refuses to talk.

The southern storage room has a crowbar in it. Save any forcing until the end, since using the attack negates your zombie disguise permanently. There's a note in here that says zombie #42 paces in circles. This is the same zombie you remembered putting something into. The locked table in here has two clot charms and money.

There's a zombie in here (79) with markings that match your circle earring. If you compare the two you'll figure out how to open the earring and find its (empty) secret compartment. This gets you 250xp. Neither that zombie, nor 679 (ancient) or 1221 (skeleton) will talk.

The northern storage room has a dustman embalming charm (lesser), and a task list. It also has a clot charm and bandages. The locked table has a corpse fly charm, bone charm, and money. Keep the bone charm! It's your portal key.

The shelves below here have more junk.

Just by the southern door to the mortuary sanctum is the shelf with the key. Convenient. The sanctuary itself just has a hammer in it.

The skeleton in the top left (863) has a message in it about the prybar. He doesn't talk. Near him is 1146, a burned zombie in Baator, who was burned by Ingus. 1148 is a female tattoed zombie that doesn't talk, and 6123, who also doesn't talk.

The only other remaining item in here is a needle and thread in a table by the crematorium. The skeletons in here (996, repent and 748, false teeth) don't talk.

When you finish your general examinations, force the two tables, making sure to run from any dustmen you see once you lose your disguise. Then leave this floor, you're done. Head down to the first floor.
