Planescape Torment:
Ravel's Maze
You enter Ravel's Maze after you finish ALL of the main areas on the map. At that point you use blood from the brothel, and the portal from the forge, to move on to 'Stage 2', where you meet Ravel. Ravel is the one who made you immortal.
First you have to fight a bunch of frigits - tree monsters. Nothing too nasty. There are portals to the NE and NW - don't use either yet. Ravel is, of course, right in the middle. Talk to her for 90,000xp. Let her touch you and talk to her about her tales.
Tell her that you came by choice, and that the companions with you are your friends. She finally asks the eternal question, 'What can change the nature of a man.' The answer is of course that SHE can, since she is the one who changed you and your nature.
It turns out that you asked to be immortal, and she did it. She doesn't actually have your immortality tho - an angel/deva person does. He is trapped in a cage right now - you get 180,000xp learning about this.
Her hint for getting out is to follow the golden link in an ever-shortening chain - i.e. follow the light. You learn about her other personae. For Ei-vene you get a max HP increase. For Mebbeth you get 90,000xp and wisdom increase. For Marta you get rope intestines which are a +9 HP and +2 AC bracelet. For the "I was caged" conversation you get 90,000xp, her hair, seeds and charms.
You end up having to fight her, she wants you to stay. You get seeds, charms, a fiendish eye and ravel's fingernail when you're done. She's not actually dead - she's just playing. If you leave by the northeast portal, you head right to the next area. Fold your arms and jump, to go to Curst. You see a little video of your mortality slaying Ravel. And you're on CD4!
