As in all games, the first race is really easy. Tatooine has soft sand, banked turns, and easily broken little rocks in your way. Sure, there's the infamous "needle" at the end of the cliffs, but just aim for the light and don't think about the rocks. You'll get through it every time. Boost your speed in all straightaways.
