Marcadia, being the capital city and all, is elegant stonework with stairs, plants, fountains, and so on. Note that killing all the lights gets you a lot of cash but no bonus.

We really like the suck cannon here - but saving up for the spitting hydra is also well worth it!!

Shoot your way forward and go up the curly staircase. You learn about jackpot crates - these multiply experience for a short period of time. Move on up to a courtyard area with plants. 15 health nanotech. A drop ship drops off enemies to fight you in a big open courtyard area. You can can jump up to the upper level to kill enemies there and get boxes.

Keep going around the whole area, clearing it out. 16 health nanotech. If you move over to the right, there's a wall jump up - go up for the titanium bolt.

Work your way along to the point where the robots say they need help. There is a drop ship there. It'll take a few more blasts to get there. continue point. When you go in, you get a series of Battle Missions. Note that you can replay any of these if you want. There's a vendor here for quick replenishing of ammo. 17 health nanotech.

Iron Shield Part 1 - Secure the Area - prize 3,000 / 45,000
Strafe with R2/L2. You're in one enclosed area with blue and red guys on mini-map. Enemy reinforcements are coming in. When you finish, "area is secure"

Iron Shield Part 2 - Air Assault - prize 4,500 / 67,500
You must protect all 4 of your friends, i.e. at least one must survive. Watch the screen for red dots and aim there.

Iron Shield Part 3 - Turret Command - prize 6,000 / 90,000
You get unlimited ammo - just blast away!

Iron Shield Part 4 - Under the Gun - prize 7,500 / 112,500
You have 2 minutes, must protect the repair crew as big drop ships land enemies near you.

Iron Shield Part 5 - Hit n' Run - prize 9,000 / 135,000
You have to run to the center area, and then use square to attach the wrench. Walk around it in circles. Take time out to blast any ground enemies in between wrench turnings. There are four bolts, each shows up in green on your map in order.

Apparently Quark has lost his memory - you have to find it for him. Also, the city's laser shield is down and the repairman has disappeared. You have to fix it.
