Boston is of course where every band starts out :) It is where Harmonix is located, to, he he he. I love Boston, so I am happy with this. In any case, you have three different locations in Boston that become available to you over time. To begin with, you can only play in the Charles Pub. You unlock more venues as you gain more fans.

Each venue is "home" to a song or songs. Once you unlock a song, you can play it in any setlist in any venue - and it can show up in any random set. When you create a setlist, you can sort the available songs by difficulty, genre, decade, song title or artist title.

Charles Pub - Somerville
Charles Pub is your first ever location. It is automatically open to you.

.. when you get the van, you get a manager and unlock New York and Chicago
