Racing
Racing missions are marked with the checkered flag icon. These are standard 4-person street races, where you have to get to the destination first. It's really good to do these AFTER you are on the streets for a while, so you know the streets pretty well.
The racing is challenging - the cars do not "stay with you" as they do in some other racing games. On the other hand, the car 'type' of your opponents matches your own car type. They won't show up in super high end sports cars if you're in a sedan. If you fail, you have to drive all the way back to the start line again to restart it. The poor starter chick always seems to get run over! There are three types of races.
Checkpoint Racing
In this version there are flame lines marking various checkpoints in the race. You have to physically drive your car over that flame line for it to count.
Lap Racing
Lap races are x laps around a track with the same flame checkpoints.
Point to Point Racing
These races involve a starting point, and ending point, and you can get to them any way you want!
The Voxel is a great race car that gives you a good advantage against your 'class'.
