Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Walkthrough
Bank - Getting To the Lasers

This is a REALLY long mission with lots of paths you can choose from. Be patient, get some popcorn and soda or whatever and save often.

You learn that there is arms amuggling going on. You need to know who paid mcas to organize lacerda's payment for kidnapping

To start with, you can go in through the front door or roof. You're starting out in a big open area in front. There are 2 roaming guards and one standing still. Your aim is going to be to pick off all 3 and put all in a dark corner. Note there are motion detector lights on the walls. There's also a valve to turn on the sprinkler.

OK, first wait for them to finish talking - then grab the guy closest to you. Now wait for the 2nd conversation to end and get the guy that comes away towards you. One left. Go to the valve on the right - turn it on to get the guard to move away from the wall then grab him last. Note that you have to get him quick before he settles elsewhere. if you really miss him, go around to the far left - that turns off the lights and draws him.

If you're interested, the roof path involves going around the right side through the arch. Use the pistol to left-trigger shot the camera high on the left, then go up the ladder straight ahead to a locked door. Go in, hit a switch, go in the glass dome that opens up and you end up in a laser room. But you shouldn't try this route unless you have to.

Instead, go up to the front door. Use your optic cable. You'll see a camera right there. There's also a guard behind the desk. Pick the lock, then SAVE :). OK, open the door then step back. Use the pistol on the camera. Next, knock out the guard with an airfoil. Go in behind the desk and use the computer. Get the door codes. Now hack it - when a number lights up, select it and press X. If you miss one you can scroll to get X on the proper number. When you're done, you plant a fake email in here. Re-zap the camera to keep it out of business.

Now go left - the door is open because no alarms are set off. If it's closed you have to go in by the roof as described earlier. If you do get stuck with the roof method, use your pistol shots to take the lasers out. Each computer in that inner room has an option to deactivate the laser grid.

OK, you need to disable 3 locks, in 2 offices. Ther'es a guard sitting in the corner. When you come in via the main door, the inner area is useless and unnecessary. The right side door is eye-camera operated. You can either hack it or whistle, wake up the guard, grab him and use him. I like the hack technique - the fewer people you bother, the better.

But really, the two sides connect so you don't even have to use that door. Just go through left glass door. open door and hide. There are a guard and camera up to left. Sneak in and shoot camera. Take out guard, then go over to right door - drop the guard in the bathroom. Turn out the light and close the door. Re-zap the camera and use the door lock - the code came from the front desk computer. Stealth open the door. A guard is in the control room. - take him out.

Upload an email here and get a security code. Note when you do these hackings, the top line is a timeout / fuse. You have to do the number-finding before the fuse runs out. If you know what a number must be because the other ones are all tried already you can manually scroll to a line with that number to hurry things along.
