Syberia Walkthrough:
Komkolzgrad - Powering the Engine
You can only go out one side of the train. Go forward along the train and talk to Oscar. You're stuck. Keep going past him and up the ladder, into the big statue. Get the red cylinder, the drawing of the statue and the lever from the top shelf. When you play the cylinder later, it talks about Hans working in the factories, helping out in mines and such. Put the lever into the control to the right. Push it forward twice, and press the button to power up the engine. Pretty easy!
Bring it back once and go out. You'll see a storeroom that you can't get in. Bring it back again to its initial position and go down. You'll see a guy running from the engine. Dan calls - it's important - but you're too busy to talk. Go inside the train to find Oscar all tied up! Someone has stolen his hands! Get the metal shears that were left behind and untie Oscar with your hands.
