Syberia Walkthrough:
The Final Stages - The Disappointing Ending
You're back in Aralbad at the station. You spin - lever - spin to power up the train. Talk to Oscar. Felix the desk clerk says there's a package for you. It's a mammoth. Mr. Marson calls and says you have 24 hrs and he's VERY upset. Now the reception phone rings and Helena wants you at the bar. Helena admits that she loved Hans and that a plane is outside for you.
Go out on the dock (no need for the face mask). Hans is there. He signs the document easily. Mr. Marson calls and says he's going to send someone to take over. Just what happened to "24 hours"? And how did he think anybody else could find Hans any faster than you did? You tell him that the deal is done and suddenly he's all sweetness and light, and says he'll put you on a new tough case. As if you want to work for HIM any more, with that sort of management technique.
So the plane is going to NY. She hemms, she haws, and she runs after Hans to go on the train to Siberia. and that is IT!!!! There is no mammoths, no ENDING, no nothing. After a mere 8 hours of playing, the game is OVER, your slimy boyfriend has left you for your equally slimy (if not MORE slimy) best friend, you have two mammoth dolls, this guy Hans and you're finally making progress and the game ENDS.
Very very very disappointing. So now I have to shell out MORE money to get the second half of the game??
