OK I found this REALLY really annoying. Normally on a screen you can wave your mouse around to see where you can go next. But if you're over by the girl and go left, you have to then WALK left on the screen before the hotspot appears. Blech. Keep going left until you get to a gate. You ring a bell and see 2 guys. This is Igor and Ivan, the pair that the girl told you about. After a long discussion full of lewd comments they get rid of you. Keep going left down the wall. You'll find a big poster. Pull the corner of it to rip it down, and you can go through the hole in the fence.

Let out the dog in the center of the pile of rubble, and the older brother runs off to chase the dog. Now go around and take the can of gas. Now talk to the second brother - and when he wakes up, the first brother returns and you can get back out again.

Note if you try to go further left at this point (towards the monestary) you are told it's too cold. There's a device by the bridge that you can't use yet.

Fine. Return back to the engine and use the gas on it. You automatically put the can down. Push the button and it starts up. Talk to Malcha and say goodbye. Go back up to the hopper and pull the lever - now it works, and you get coal.

Of course nothing is that easy in this game. Oscar immediately walks over to you and says that Hans is missing!
