To start out, use Y to talk to the bird. You'll find that there are usually creatures around to talk to whenever you're about to learn something new or figure out a new skill. When you're done, run to the Bli Bli Station, past the wallabies and right. Yes, you want to interact with the wallabies. Everyone I know who has tried this game has tried to whallop them :) But you can't :)

Next you meet Julius the Koala. He tells you that you need thunder eggs to power the machine to find the talismans. Note that this game is NOT a hunt for the talismans in any real sense. You hunt for all the eggs and when you get enough the machine POOF sucks in the next talisman for you.

You're told that the portals lead to areas rich with thunder eggs. Which means of course that this is your traditional "world-oriented" game where you go into a world, clear it of eggs, return to the main area, get credit, and so on.

So it's time to get going! Go to the other side of the room and press Y to enter Two Up.
