One of the three special rankings you get (in the top right on your ranking page) is the Rich Samurai. You get this for getting somewhere around 260 yen. I got it at 267 yen. This is actually pretty easy.

First, ignore Suzu on the bridge. Go straight up to the Kuroa compound and tell Tsubohachi you want to join. Go in to Tesshin and say nothing.

Depending on how much health you end the duel with, you get more cash. We ended with 1705 health left which gave us 68 yen. 1429 health left = 57 yen. Go in with the best sword (as far as adding health) you can get.

OK, leave this area. Take a left and head back to the shrine. Shiretoko is waiting for you. Go with him to restaurant and roust it very thoroughly. Note: be very careful not to throw anything at your own teammates. Otherwise they become unalterably hostile. Throw things *at* Don and Suzu. Get 20 if he doesn't think you did a good job, but if you do well you get 50.

Now times moves on to evening. Go back to Kurou. Shiretoko now says you have to guard the baby Kintaro's walk. Stay near the carriage. The Akadama attack. Fight them. Hyuga comes to join in. Shiretoko tells you to take the baby and escape. Ignore that command, and stay and fight. You'll get 50 yen from Tesshin for being brave. Now he says he'll annihilate the Akadama. You should have around 144 yen total now.

Head back into town, it's nighttime. Suzu is waiting for you. She seems to have forgotten that you just wildly tore up her restaurant. Say we meet again, then wait for the very end of her story to ask for a reward of money. You get 3 yen from her. Go to the Kurou residence, find Don and kill him. Or drag him and let others kill him for you if you feel guilty about slaying him. In any case, come back carrying the chest and with Don dead to get 120 yen. Your total is now around 267.

You get 100 points and the title Rich Samurai if you do it on Easy. If you do it on normal, you get 250 points.
