There are six possible "real" endings for the game, not counting of course dying along the way! Each ending takes place during the day on Day 2 and is affected by your actions during those two days. Each ending you've gotten is displayed on your score page by lighting up pieces of the sword-scabbard picture.

For this one you get the bottom left of the sword scabbard.

Save the girl at the bridge. Head in to town. Then fight at inn - join with the attacker.

On Day 2 at railroad - attack Chelsea and Karibe with Tattoo by your side. Go up on foundry top and kill feather boy with dad watching. Now the father says all that remains is signing ceremony with govt.

You go to the signing meeting. Dad arranged entertainment. Government guy "The Death of a Samurai Family". Tanagawa set him up.

Now big fight with soldiers and Kuroa. Fight at house first. Then fight cannon guys in pine area. Then in town with govt ninja and Hyuga block you.

Finally you face Tanagawa at bridge with his soldiers. Kill them. "AM I going to die? It can't be!" the soldiers run away. Hordes come. But Tesshin gives poem to your upcoming battle.

Govt army captured Kurou and foundry after several days of battle. Kurou family held onto honor as true samurai. Cost was extinction. Sept Seinan war brought to an end. No samurai left in Japan.
