Lesson for the week: Teach your gifted kids to speak up for themselves and for others. Gifted children notice everything. They often assume incorrectly that this means that "everyone" knows what they know. If a classmate is being picked on, if a teacher miscalculates a grade, they need to step up and do what they can to make things right. A child who communicates a problem politely and clearly and perhaps offers a solution will gain both respect and confidence.

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
