Hi there, just me popping in to say hello. I hope this newsletter arrives at a convenient time for a quick cuppa and a chat. Finally got rid of the dreaded lurgy last week, I hate it when it lays you so low you don’t feel like to doing anything.
So, here we are, end of August and for us southern hemisphere dwellers, our spring is about to be sprung!! I’m looking forward to the warmer days and the lovely light that we get here at the onset of the warmer months.
I really can understand why our foremothers loved to spring clean at the beginning of spring. It certainly is a great time for renewal and refreshing your life. I’m in the process of making some serious decisions about changing the way I do things (quilty I mean). Haven’t got it all in cement yet, but I will reveal all once I’ve completed my “makeover”. Watch this space!
Last week I posted a book review on a book titled “Spectacular Rectangles”. It’s a marvellously inspiring book with great quilts to make. Here’s the link to that article for your interest: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art172832.asp
We’ve been having some fun on the forum. I posted a little “game” last week called Patchwork Alphabet Soup and it’s been a bit of a giggle. We’re up to P, so pop over there and add your contribution. Here’s the link: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/708297/2
