Book Review: The Hidden Curriculum
Today I have a puzzle for you. What do these things have in common?
*If you are a fifth grade boy, don't wear purple sweat pants and an orange sweat shirt to school.
*Don't interrupt a conversation and start talking about your dog when everybody else is talking about what to do on the weekend.
*Do not carry on a loud or lengthy conversation on a cell phone in a restaurant. This can irritate other people who are there to enjoy their meals.
*Don't repeatedly tell a co-worker how nice they look or make personal comments about their attractiveness. Some people feel harassed by personal comments and may complain. If it happens often, this could cause you to lose your job.
What do they have in common? Read my book review, The Hidden Curriculum, and put the pieces of the puzzle together! Feel free to post your favorite hidden curriculum items in the forum.
I hope all of you had a blessed and restful New Year,
