I am, as you read this newsletter, frolicking in San Diego, California, as husband slaves away at his conference there. This is a tremendous networking opportunity, as the business community of his speciality is very small, but spread worldwide. Most have never met one another face to face, even though they may have been working together for years!
What is particularly exciting for me is that the international aspects of simulation in education, health care and training are all taken for granted in this venue. The universality of needs and solutions is obvious to the participants, generally. That is the perspective which is needed for building a better world.

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback, but depending upon the quality of wifi in our hotel, may not be able to respond immediately. Also, the weather is supposed to be typical, sunny Southern California--so I might be out on the beaches or in the parks instead of online. I'll think of you all as I'm getting my winter sunburn!
