Card Games

August 11 2006 Card Games Newsletter

Being the Card Games Editor, I feel somewhat guilty for not knowing how to play Bridge. This week I have been trying to learn about this complicated yet apparently fun card game. I've been posing the question to friends how they learned how to play, and the response has been mostly through family. I also learned of a few local Bridge clubs that seem to play more for the social aspect than the game.

All my research has left me with some ideas for upcoming articles on Bridge. I'd love to hear from Bridge players in the card games forum or by email about why they play Bridge, and how they got started.

Here's the latest article from the Card Games site at

Five Card Deluxe
A review of the casual game Five Card Deluxe. Think of it as poker meets solitaire.

Souvenir Cards
When on vacation, a deck of cards makes a great souvenir gift. There are many advantages to buying this staple of card players.

Come join us in the forums and talk about card games or whatever is on your mind.

Is there a card game you would like to know more about? Drop me a line. I'm sure you are not the only one.

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
