Christian Literature

January 31 2007 Christian Literature Newsletter

Dear Readers:

You will find two reviews this week. The first is Mon's Needs Dad's Needs. This book addresses the issues involved in keeping a healthy marriage going even while meeting the requirements of children.

It is my privilege to introduce you to a new, outstanding author, Stewart McPherson. He is only 23 years old and has several other books ready to be published. It takes a lot to "wow" me in a nature study book today. I've seen and read hundreds of them over my lifetime because of my continuing fascination with learning more about God's creation. McPherson has accomplished this and I've already asked to be allowed to review the rest of his books as they come off the presses. My only wish is that he hadn't bought totally into the evolution theory to explain the wonderful diversity of carnivorous plants.

Pitcher Plants of the Americas
Pitcher Plants of the Americas is an exciting new books on a very unique plant family. If you love gardening, you will enjoy this new book on some unusual plants for a "bog garden" or along a stream, river, or pond.
