~~~~~Clairvoyantly Speaking~~~~~
Greetings everyone! It is one gorgeous day here in the mid
west. The birds all have something to say and the breeze
sounds very much like the ocean waves on the coast!
It's cool enough to tackle some of those tasks we may have put
off as spring spit-jumped right to the center of Summer, so
consider this a day mother nature wants to make that up to us :)
(as it's a little cooler today, I thought it would be
nice to whip up some bannana bread for everyone!)
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp apple pie seasoning
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
2 T buttermilk
1 cup sugar
3 ripe banannas
1 cup nuts (if desired)
lemon juice to taste
Pre-heat oven to 350. Greasse 2 small loaf pans.
Mix dry ingredients first, adding dairy product
and banannas next. Add nuts (if desired). Pour
ingredients into pans and bake for 45-50 min.
This is great with ice cream, butter or a lemon
cream cheese drizzle for tea parties or sittng on
the front porch. Enjoy!!
As many of you may know, having gone through
domestic violence and surviving it myself, I am a current supporter
of Illinois Coalition For Court Reform.
In case you do not know what this is,
it is an organization dedicated to help men and women
who are currently or have been exposed to domestic violence
and are finding difficulty in recieving support or help.
This website is also dedicated and currently is exposing corruption
and bias in the family court system.
Below is the web address for anyone who may know of someone who may
be in need of help. Remember HELP IS out there and this
organization is beginning to gain momentum!
***I have had many emails asking me for more information
on this organization. If you have a sense someone may be
in need of it, feel free to pass this on.
It should be noted we deal both inside and out of the IL
state borders!
