October 14 2011 Cocktails Newsletter
Hello and apologies again this week. I did not write about the wonderful products I've reviewed lately nor did I post a single new article about cocktails!! I'm still a little overwhelmed with the aftermath of the fire in Bastrop County, Texas, that destroyed more than 1,600 homes and left thousands of people displaced, like me!
I've got a home again, though, my beloved pets are all healthy and accounted for, and I'm back to work. I've just become Content Advisor for an internet marketing company called MeasurableSEO(dot)com and I'm so grateful for the timing as well as the work. I've had a hard time thinking about anything other than what do I need to do to rebuild after this crazy fire episode. Having a 'real' job to focus on is helping tremendously with my ability to focus. I'm sure I'll be able to focus on writing about cocktails again very soon . . . although I don't seem to have problems focusing on cocktails in hand!
For the background story about the fire, follow the link below to my BellaOnline Cocktails forum. Click on the topic titled 'Wildfire destroying my home." It's been a wickedly wild six weeks since I started writing it and I'm not ready yet to read it myself so be prepared for some pretty raw writing. Go easy on me, please.
Thank you so much for your continued presence during my time of upheaval. I'll be back in the game very soon!
