"To me, not taking a risk is taking a risk."

Robert Redford made that comment when accepting his Chaplin Award on April 27th, 2015, presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Redford, who will be 79 years old in August, shows no signs of slowing down. His film "Truth" was just acquired by Sony Pictures Classics. "A Walk in The Woods", in which Redford plays writer Bill Bryson, will be released in September.

Another actor who continues to work consistently is 82-year-old Michael Caine. His film "Youth" is being screened at the Cannes Film Festival this week and was just picked up for distribution in North America by Fox Searchlight. The English language film is directed by Paolo Sorrentino and also stars Harvey Keitel, Rachel Weisz and Jane Fonda. Caine plays a composer/conductor and Keitel plays a filmmaker.

A new film starring Cate Blanchett, "Carol", is already creating Oscar buzz for Blanchett. Stay tuned!
