Greetings to all folks near and far. I wish you all a very happy new year full of blessings and joy.
Well, Christmas decorations have been put away for another year. It is always sad to have to put it all away. We enjoyed our Christmas very much this year. Some life-long family traditions were not able to be kept this time, but, I had a wonderful Christmas Eve my daughter and her family -- she fixed a lovely dinner and we spent the evening just enjoying being together. On Christmas Day, my daughter and her family and two other family members enjoyed a wonderful dinner and good time together. Family traditions have held our family together in love and are so important to us. We always make extra efforts to be with loved ones during the Christmas season.
It is time to start getting ready for Valentine's Day and the house needs a good cleaning and freshening up. Once that is done, I am going to make some valentines and tiny dolls for gifting to loved ones. Making my own valentines is a lot of fun. I have templates I have used for several years and they are still usable: birds, hearts, flowers, and lots of ideas.
February is the month of love, so, in keeping with that thought, I have more articles to write on Great Loves in Mythology. If you have a favorite romance from the pages of mythology, let me know and I will be happy to write about it for you.
Here is my third article about Psyche and Eros -- from the Folklore and Mythology site at BellaOnline.com.
Psyche And Eros - A Story Of Trust
Psyche now knew she had to find trust if she was to ever know love.
