Greetings to all folks near and far.
Here is my latest article about Psyche and Eros.
Psyche And Eros - Trust Betrayed
I will love you and protect you forever, he whispered. Even if you were sent to the gates of hell, I would be with you in spirit and protect you from all harm.

I have one more article coming up for Psyche and Eros. I hope you are enjoying these articles as much as I do writing them. Please let me know if you have other favorite love stories in mythology, or folklore, that you would like to read on my Folklore & Mythology site.
Eros is the Greek god of love. In Roman mythology, the god of love is called Cupid. The story of Psyche and Cupid is the same as Psyche and Eros. Roman and Greek mythology often share the same stories, even though the names of the gods and goddesses are different. Comparative mythology is one of my favorite studies. I will be writing about the similarities in the Greek and Roman mythologies beginning in April -- so, if there are gods or goddesses you want to learn more about, please let me know and we will explore this subject together through my articles.
Did you know that in Dante's "Inferno" the Ninth Circle of Hell is reserved for those who betray family or country. The denizens of this deepest circle, who are frozen in ice, include Judas (betrayer of Christ) and Cassius and Brutus (betrayers of Julius Caesar).
Till next time, may you walk in peace and harmony.
Phyllis
