July 19 2007 Native American Newsletter

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful week! It has been really hot here in Albuquerque, as we await our monsoon season, which seems to be later than usual in arriving. The garden grows well, and my sunflowers are beginning to show their smiling faces. Speaking of plants, that is the subject I chose for my article this week on the Native American site at

Sacred Herbs
Plants have many uses and teachings to share with us all. Here are a few pointers to help to introduce you to the Plant Nation, as well as information on the Four Sacred Herbs.

I hope you enjoy the article. We also have a forum topic devoted to herbs and their uses, called "Fun & Games: Medicinal Herbs". You can check it out at:

We will continue updating that thread with more herbal info. If anyone wishes further information on herbs and plants, just drop by the forum and let me know.

Don't forget that we also have a lot of information that can be accessed from the home page at:, including links for geneology, spirituality, and even scholarships and stories.

Speaking of stories, we have been posting a few in the forum lately on our latest thread entitled: "The Hello Place: Welcome to the Campfire". It is a topic devoted to campfire conversations and stories, with a few jokes mixed in for fun. Drop by sometime and say hello, I'd love to hear from you! The URL for that topic is:

To get signed up for the forum (only name and email addy are required), go to the Native American main forum page at:

and click on "register user". That will get you all hooked up so that you can post to the forum anytime. If you have any problems with the process, feel free to drop me a line, and I'll help you get set up.

So come on by the forum today, and join in the fun!

Feel free to pass this message or this week's article along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!

I hope to hear from you soon!

Many Blessings for a wonderful weekend,
