I'm looking very much forward to the July books that are arriving in bookstores in the next week or two, and a couple in particular: Nora Roberts's High Noon, due out July 10, and Linda Howard's Up Close and Dangerous, due to be released July 17. Two of my very favorite authors within a week of one another. I can hardly wait! And then there's Penny McCall, and Cherry Adair, and Anne Stuart with Jennifer Crusie...and even more. It looks like July is going to be a very good reading month.
In the meantime, I'm most of the way through the June books that have landed on my desk, barring any late arrivals, that is. I have just a few left, and a whole lot already reviewed. If you haven't stopped by the main site lately, you've missed out on Goddess of Love, Lady Beware, At the Edge, Sudden Pleasures, Raintree Haunted, and Bad As She Wants to be. In just that bunch, you've got Bertrice Small, Thea Devine, Jo Beverly, Linda Winstead Jones, and Cait London, just to name a few.

And, while I'm thinking about Nora Roberts, she's set to do a signing right before the official release date of her new book. You can find more info on her website. I'm planning to take a drive down there myself this time.
And for the writers in the northeastern U.S., it's time to start thinking about the wonderful conference New Jersey Romance Writers Host each October. They have quite the list of speakers up already. You can find more info on their website. Perhaps I'll see some of you there as well.
