July 27 2009 Romance Novels Newsletter

Hello, and welcome back! I hope you're all having a good reading summer so far! I'm finding that the good books are coming in batches this summer, a few really good ones, then a whole lot more that are so-so or not very good at all. I wish there were more of the really good ones than the not-very-good ones.

I've posted nearly all of the July reviews, though there are a few left to get onto the site, and my goal is to get that finished this week so we can start on the August romances which are stacking up here on my desk.

But it's been such a long time since I sent out a newsletter (shame on me), that if you haven't been by the site lately, you haven't missed out on just the July reviews, but the rest of the June reviews as well. Like Immortal Outlaw, Gotcha!, Tails of Love, Outcast, Return to Me, Faeries Gone Wild, Maid in Montana, A Little Light Magic, Behind the Red Door, My Forbidden Desire, Not Quite a Husband, How to Score, and Seducing an Angel. Then there are the July (so far) reviews: Don't Tempt Me, Black Hills, Burn, Suddenly One Summer, Four Dukes and a Devil, One Scream Away, and Midnight's Master.

If you like free reads, I have two links you'll want to check out. The first will take you to where you can sign up for a short story set in Christine Warren's 'The Others' world, to tide you over until her October release hits bookstores. The second will get you a prequel to Sandra Hill's August release, So Into You, called "Saving Savannah".

If you haven't stopped by the forum lately, you're missing out on chatting with other romance readers, not to mention the monthly ARC giveaways. You should also stop by our other forum for reader discussions.

And, until next time, happy reading and writing!
