And we have plenty of good reading material to look forward to in the next few months, like Diana Gabaldon's next installment in Jamie and Claire's story, An Echo in the Bone. I can't wait for that one, and am about to start a re-read of the rest of the series (in my copious amounts of spare time, ha!) before the new one gets here.
If you've been busy doing summer kinds of things lately, you might have missed out on the August reviews over on the main site. So here's a recap: How to Tame a Modern Rogue, Loves Me, Loves Me Knot, Obsession Untamed, The Bridegroom, Seduce Me, Dark Hunger, Out of the Light, Into the Shadows, Her Texas Bodyguard's Proposal, Hot Pursuit, So Into You, Goddess of the Hunt, and Tasting Fear, which is the first book in a long time to earn a perfect review score.
Somehow the month has slipped by without me getting to do an ARC giveaway, so I guess I'll have to do two in September. That means if you haven't registered to participate in the , now would be a good time, since there's a wait time before new members can take part in the giveaways and discussions, and then you'll be ready when I get the ARC giveaways posted there. We also have a couple readers looking for help finding old books over in our other forum. If you can help them out, I know they'd appreciate it very much, plus then you can take part in all the other discussions there.
For the writers, time is running out to get registered for NJRW's annual conference in October. For more info, check out their website. It's always a great conference, though I'm still waiting and hoping for more editors and agents to be added to the attendees list.
Until next time, happy reading and writing!
