Hello everyone,
Overachievement isn't all it's cracked up to be. While classmates in my English course have been researching political, legal or current event articles I picked an obscure medical controversy. Half the words in the studies I've found I can't even pronounce! At least I know all the words in my RPG books, including "railroad." When a DM railroads they might be trying to convey a story to their players but they should be writing a book instead. Another article for the players this week, enjoy.
Sniffing Out a Railroaded Plot
The bartender. Their patron. Maybe even the cat. One of these creatures is inexplicably invulnerable. Inexplicably in the game world anyway. Outside the game it's called railroading. In different ways it haunts game tables all over. Here's how to tell if your adventure is on rails or not.
