The highest rated television show in television history happened on this day in history. February 28, 1983 was the night that America said good-bye to the long running dramedy, M*A*S*H.

Did you know that the episode when Henry Blake left, no one knew he was going to be killed off? The producers wanted genuine reaction from the cast when Radar read the letter about his plane being shot down over the Sea of Japan.

Also, Gary Burghoff is the only cast member who went from the movie to the television show.
