October 20 2008 Vegetarian Newsletter

This week I actually had to put my money where my mouth is and use many of my shortcut methods as we entertained our guests. I got a great opportunity to explore new methods of creating fusion cuisine and received rave reviews as we all grew healthier in the tastiest of ways.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Did you know that out of the 45 fruits and vegetables tested for pesticides, grown in the conventional manner, avocados and onions rank the lowest in pesticide levels while peaches and apples rank the highest?

According to the Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce by Environmental Working Group this is the case.

Translation... If you're going to buy conventional know which produce puts you at higher risk for pesticides poisoning. Drop me a line [contact info at end of newsletter] if you want to know more about this and I'll send you a link.

Now let's catch up on this past week's happenings.

- Had an awesome time this past week as we entertained guests
- Came up with a few new curries
- Gearing up to make a 4 day stint to California's bay area and check out some of the vegetarian restaurants and shopping to review
- The cookbook and programming process continues

and without further ado...
