This past week it was sunny enough for our friends to hold their first barbecue of the year. Sitting their garden in the warmth with a glass of my favourite Lanson Black Label Champagne in hand looking at strawberry plants in their garden and smelling meats grilling over charcoal as my friend did the cooking, I felt happy and content. It's nice to have fine weather and lovely wines but its even better to have good friends.
