Mosquito Pupae
"These incredibly tiny mosquito pupae looked to the naked eye like tiny tadpoles to me, resting just below the water´s surface. I gathered some up and brought them home to my tank. Imagine my surprise when I used my macro lens to get a closer look. Pupae are the final stage a mosquito goes through, for 1-4 days, before launching into the air with wings."
